Women's Community Groups
Finding community and connection through Bible study, fellowship, and service
With the new year, we have new opportunities to dive into Bible study and fellowship with the Women's Community Groups. The groups will resume the week of January 22 at various times and locations. All groups are open to new members.Three different studies will be used:
- God Seeker: Weekly routines and pressing responsibilities keep us preoccupied, yet we can't shake the nagging realization that day after day God seems awfully far away. "God Seeker" aims to dispel the myth that intimacy with God is only for a few. This study encourages us to pursue God passionately, expecting a dynamic, uniquely personal relationship with Him. (Suggested Class Fee $15; includes book)
- Seamless: This study covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, this study will help you experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. (Suggested Class Fee $15; includes book)
- Trading Panic for Peace: We all dream of peace -- world peace, peace in our homes, and lives lived at a peaceful pace. So often, though, our dreams of peace are shattered by the chaos, pain and trouble of this present world. Take a fresh look at an old, familiar passage, Psalm 23, in which Jesus offers rest for our souls. We will also explore practical applications that can help us trade panic for peace on a daily basis. (Suggested Class Fee $10; includes book)
NOTE: Childcare will be available during studies at Christ Church on Sunday and Wednesday evenings only.
