Donations

If you have some items to donate but don't know what to do with them, we would love to help by suggesting one of our partner agencies. Please see list below for items needed by our partner agencies:

Clothing

  • Mountain Mission - The United Methodist Mountain Mission has been serving the people of eastern Kentucky since 1943. We have 8 opportunity stores in Kentucky that are located in Barbourville, Irvine, Harlan, Hazard, Jackson, Pineville, West Liberty, and Burkesville. Bring your items to Christ Church and place them in the Collections Closet off of the Gathering Hall.

Food

  • St. Matthews Area Ministries - St. MAM accepts non-perishable, non-expired food items. They are located at 201 Biltmore Road, Louisville KY 40207. Visit their website for a current list of items they need.

Furniture

  • Kentucky Refugee Ministries (KRM) - Your donations will go to prepare for refugee families arriving in Kentucky. KRM secures rental units for them and provides furnishings for their apartment or house. To help in this endeavor, KRM relies on the generosity of community supporters, companies, and groups. Call or email Melissa Siege (479-9180 x523) to arrange for pick up of items.
  • God's Designs, Inc. - The purpose of God's Designs, Inc. is to enrich lives by making homes more pleasant places for everyday living. They collect donated household furnishings which are stored in a warehouse and then used to furnish homes and apartments for those in need at no cost to them. Call or email Jim Chancellor (384-0783) to schedule a pick up.
