On this page, you will find information that we hope is helpful to you in learning more about Christ Church, and what to do if you visit us. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please contact us. We hope to see you soon!

The Christ Church congregation joins together for worship on Sunday mornings at 9 and 11:15 am in our Sanctuary and at 10:05 am in our Chapel.

We also offer additional worship opportunities:

Communion Service
Sundays at 8:30 am in the Prayer Room

Prayer Service
2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Prayer Room

Communion is served weekly at our 8:30 and 10:05 am services. As United Methodists, we believe that it is not our table, but God's table, and all who believe are welcome to participate in communion.

Parking for first-time visitors is available adjacent to Brownsboro Road.

Some people have asked, "How should I dress for worship?" We encourage you to dress in a way that makes you comfortable. Most of our congregants choose to come to worship dressed in "business casual," "business," or "Sunday best."

Dress for small group bible studies, rehearsals and activities other than worship is generally casual.

When you arrive, please seek out one of our three welcome desks (two outside the Sanctuary and one in the Children's Wing) to fill out a security name tag for your child. A guest services volunteer will then guide you to your destination.

Click here for details about activities for children on Sunday mornings.

Christ Church is located at 4614 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY 40207.

Our church is large and may seem confusing on your first visit! The best entrances to use for worship are located under the large portico on the west side of the church building or through the glass double doors just west of the steeple facing Brownsboro Road.

Whichever entrance you use on Sunday morning, greeters should be readily available to help you get where you need to go!

Small Groups

At Christ Church, we feel that study and fellowship in a small group setting is foundational to a rich spiritual life. To support that belief, we have dozens of small groups for every age and nearly every need.

For people new to Christ Church, we invite you to visit our drop-in class that meets every Sunday morning at 10:05 am in our Parlor. This can be a great first step to finding a small group that is the right "fit" for you.
