The purpose of the Sterling Service Tea Ministry is to serve the spiritual, social and inspirational needs of women and their families who have been touched by cancer. The teas, held three times a year, are themed and have inspirational speakers who often have personal experience with cancer. The ladies are served at tables with formal tea settings, and are offered a variety of tea sandwiches, sweets and tea. Often they are given mementos of the event to take home, such as knitting needles, potted plants, tea magazines, bookmarks, note cards and bath products. Contact Trudy Wheeler at (502) 819-1595.
