“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens,
and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
About Our Care Ministries
Jesus washed the feet of his disciples (in John:13). His actions are powerfully caring, comforting, serving. When we come to Christ, we are promised that we will find in Him God’s everlasting and unfathomable compassion, peace and love. Every day, our lives are caught in the mire of human frailty: illness, death, loss, change, sudden tragedy, prolonged issues and more. Our church family offers prayer, care, comfort, counseling and spiritual support through our Caring Ministries. If you have requests, concerns, or needs (or if you know of someone else in need), contact Rev. Melissa Head at 893-2201 x263.
Get Involved in our Care Ministries
As we receive Christ’s healing and love, we are also called by him to extend love to others, “Now that I have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” If you feel called to offer your spiritual gifts in Caring Ministries, we have a number of opportunities for compassionate service, including hospital and nursing home visits, prayer team, communion visitation, meals ministry, card writers, grief care, support calls, Stephen ministers, congregational care ministers, and support group.
