Unique and Special Needs
We strive to create an environment that is ability inclusive and empowers ALL individuals to be integrated and engaged at all levels of church participation - worship, prepare and serve.
All God's People
Out All God's People Committee leads our church in unique and special needs ministries.
For children who are able to participate in typical Sunday School activities, they will be paired up with an adult buddy who will assist them specifically. For children who cannot participate in a typical Sunday School setting due to the severity of their special need, they will attend a special Sunday School class designed for one-on-one attention and love from adults who desire to share God's love with them.
Do you know a child who would benefit from one-on-one discipleship? Do you know a family that has trouble getting to church because Sunday school is not a good fit for their child? Do you know a child with physical or social limitations that needs to experience God’s love in church?
We want to welcome all these kids to try a new, short-term, flexible small group experience called Sensational Kids. From August 16 (Promotion Sunday) to September 13, this group will meet in Room 130 from 10:05 to 11 am to experience prayer and Bible stories in a way that meets each child’s individual needs.
Next Step: Contact Becky Powers at (502) 494-3751) if you have questions about this opportunity or would like to discuss other Sunday morning options for your child.
