Youth Snack Supper 2018-Every Sunday night youth will have a snack supper from local restaurants/caterers (except Jan 7, the Agape Meal is free).  No more weekly payments! A donation of $45 for the semester will cover the cost of these meals.   Click HERE for to register and pay!

10:05 MS Sunday Mornings Join us as we continue to explore Egypt in the Bible.

10:05 HS Sunday Mornings Sundays With Bobby continue, as church member Bobby Schiavone invites reflection and dialogue on Scripture and our life experiences to help us follow Jesus. Interested in a weekly Sunday morning small group for Bible study and growing closer to God and others? Contact Mackenzie Childers, 994-1258, for more info; plans are to start Jan 28.

6 pm, Fellowship Hall, Stronger: A Night for Mothers and Daughters: Special event for 6th-8th grade girls, their moms, and other important women in their lives. Guest speaker is Kari Kampakis. For, written for tween- and teen-aged girls. No registration required. 

6 pm, Room 003/004 Boys to Men - All 6th-8th grade boys and their dads (or significant men in their lives) are invited to our Boys to Men event. Pizza provided (donations appreciated!). No registration required.

6 pm High School youth group: Snack supper followed by Growing Good Romantic Relationships, led by Karen Kluever. What are you looking for in a relationship? What are the good and bad experiences high school youth have with dating? Where does faith fit in, or does it? Let’s talk. Friends (and boyfriends and girlfriends) welcome!

  • Highlights: potato and salad bar lunch, cake auction, stories from the mission field, Super Bowl Snacks-to-Go, and opportunities to support specific mission needs on the Missions Board. (The board will also be in the Gathering Hall January 21 and 28.) Child care provided.! Cash, checks, and credit card payments accepted. New this year: Children’s Play Area

Hosted by the Christ Church IronMan Ministry, we will explore how God designed boys and men to follow Christ; pizza provided (donations appreciated!). No registration required.
  • Stronger: A Night for Mothers and Daughters: Special event for 6th-8th grade girls, their moms, and other important women in their lives. Guest speaker is Kari Kampakis, author of 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know and Liked: Whose Approval Are You Living For, written for tween- and teen-aged girls. Open to the community. Sunday, January 21, 6 - 7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. No registration required. 

One Voice High School Mission Trip registration is open! Early bird registration ends on February 1!

REGISTER FOR ONE VOICE HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP TO INDIANAPOLIS AND CHICAGO

  • June 6-12
  • Open to all 9th-12th graders 
  • Registration deadline and nonrefundable $75 deposit is due February 1

Building on a Christ Church tradition, One Voice choir members go on the road to sing and serve in Jesus' name and this year the mission trip is open to all high school youth who want to be involved in urban ministry, serving in Indianapolis and Chicago. Singers and non-singers will experience Christ-centered community and the chance to be "one body, with many gifts."

Mountain TOP Mission Trip Info Meeting, Sun Feb 11, 10:05, Rm 002: Spots still available for this summer mission trip, Jul 8-14, in eastern Tennessee for 8th-12th graders. Those interested and those already registered should attend this meeting for youth, parents, and trip leaders. Register for trip HERE; spots are limited, so don’t delay.

Basketball News

Our boys basketball teams start playing this Saturday, weather permitting (coaches will be notified)

Middle School: Christ Church MS #1 vs Christ Church MS #2, 8 am

High School: Game at 1 pm. 

Cheer on our God Squad HS team and two MS teams at Beargrass Christian Church on Shelbyville Road.
