The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) appointed Kristie Goodwin and Mark Jessee co-chairs of the youth minister search team and their work has begun. The search team of three youth, four parents, two SPRC representatives and two staff members will be listening to youth, parents and leaders, reviewing candidate resumes and beginning interviews in the next few weeks. The job posting can be found at www.ccum.net/jobs. Please keep the work of this committee in your prayers. 


Save the Date: May 6: 5-6:00 pm in Room 003 - Youth Parents Meeting followed by our Youth Ministry Last Blast! We will update you on what is going on in Youth Ministry: the search for a youth pastor, upcoming summer events, time for feedback, and we have a few things we’d like your input about! Adult leaders needed for Passport Camp - Would you like to experience a life-changing week of worship, service and fun with our Middle School Youth? Trip dates are June 23-29 If you are willing to be an adult leader, please e-mail Chris Hughes and he will follow up with you.

9:00 Laudate sings in worship. 8:20 donuts; 8:30 warm-up; concert attire.

10:05 Middle School Handbells ring in worship. 9:30 warm-up; 10:05 service (Laudate members who ring will be dismissed in time for rehearsal)

10:05 HS Sunday Mornings - Work Room is open and Mark Ray will continue his series on "How to Read the Bible Without Getting a Headache."

10:05 MS Sunday Mornings - Our middle school students will continue working on their Easter projects, sharing something they've learned this year in a creative way.

6:00 pm This week in youth group we will put the finishing touches on our Great Commission Projects as we go out into our community to make a difference this month! Confirmation Class: Gather in Youth Center for snack supper and opening worship, then 003-004 for our last class on Acts of Mercy/Acts of Justice and closing communion.

One Voice High School Mission Trip registration is open! 

REGISTER FOR ONE VOICE HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP TO INDIANAPOLIS AND CHICAGO

  • June 6-12
  • Open to all 9th-12th graders 
  • Registration deadline and nonrefundable $75 deposit 

Building on a Christ Church tradition, One Voice choir members go on the road to sing and serve in Jesus' name and this year the mission trip is open to all high school youth who want to be involved in urban ministry, serving in Indianapolis and Chicago. Singers and non-singers will experience Christ-centered community and the chance to be "one body, with many gifts." 

Passport Camp News

Headed to Passport Camp on June 23? We need the parent of each participating student to fill out the release form located HERE. This form is from the Passport organization and required for each student. Contact Amy Roberts with any questions.

There will be a parent information meeting on April 22 at 10:05 am in Room 002. Come and hear details about the trip, packing needs, volunteer roles, and answer any questions you may have.

Confirmation Celebration Dinner

Confirmation Celebration Dinner is Sunday, April 29th at 6 pm in Fellowship Hall. ALL Youth are invited. Confirmation Parents and families, and Mentors, click HERE to RSVP for the dinner and reserve childcare.
