A retired architect, Steve is the author of more than ten books—Distinctive Houses of Louisville among them—and has been a leader in the Louisville Historical League since the 1980s. Executive Director Rev. Dr. Corey Miller will share their mission and take us on a tour, then we’ll gather in the board room for a delicious catered lunch. The perfect way to welcome spring!

From 1805 to 1910, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill was the third largest Shaker community in the U.S. Now the beautifully restored site on 3,000 acres promises to ignite our curiosity and expand our imaginations! After our bus ride through the countryside, we’ll dine at The Trustee’s Table at Shaker Village, where traditional favorites and seasonal dishes are prepared with straight-from-the-garden ingredients. We’ll also enjoy a guided walking tour, a program on Shaker Music, and time to visit the gift shop or take a stroll. A perfect day!
