Amy began serving God through the ministries of the United Methodist Church during college on the campus of Morehead State University at the Wesley Foundation, Methodist Student Center. It was there that she discerned a calling into vocational ministry and was mentored by the late Rev. Phil Hogg. It was also there that she met her husband, James, of 28 years. Together, they have Andrew (25) & Lexie, Joanna (20) & Bethany (17). Amy served “part time” in youth & children’s ministry for 15 years in Paintsville, KY before finally taking the leap of faith into “full time” ministry in 2017 as a Licensed Local Pastor. She has been an appointed pastor at Mayo Memorial UMC for the past 6 years & joined the Christ Church staff as Associate Pastor in June, 2023.
