Eric Bryant
Senior Pastor
Rev. Dr. Eric Bryant entered pastoral ministry in 1991 and became an ordained elder in the Kentucky Annual Conference in 1999.
Eric has served congregations in a variety of settings. Before arriving at Christ Church Eric was the Director of New Church Development for the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for three years. Previously, Eric served as senior pastor at St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Louisville for nine years.
Eric has a passion to reach the people for Jesus Christ and to see the church renew, grow and become all God desires it to be. He is excited to learn and grow with the congregation in living out the mission of becoming living proof of God’s love, one person at a time.
Eric and his wife, Kathy, have three grown children and two grandchildren. With his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and being outside – more specifically, Eric enjoys endurance sports, is a triathlete and completed his first IRONMAN triathlon in 2019.
