Hope for the Holidays

Rev. Amy Chapman offers comfort and hope for anyone walking through a season of grief or heaviness as the holidays approach, reminding us that God is the God of the living and that in Christ we are children of the resurrection. Jesus assures us that death does not have the final word, and that the ones we love who have gone before us live in God’s presence, just as we do. In communion and in community, we hold both grief and hope, trusting that Christ meets us in the night and invites us to participate in a living, sustaining hope that carries us forward.
