Chancel Choir is a group of adults who enjoy singing together to assist in creating a musical presence for worship services at Christ Church and beyond. All musical skill levels are welcome. Their repertoire is always changing, but currently includes traditional-style anthems from Mozart & Bach, heart-wrenching selections from Rene Clausen, as well as lively versions of gospel tunes from Moses Hogan.
Wednesdays (August-early June) | 7:30 to 9 pm
This group is especially designed for those who love to sing but are unable to make the time investment needed for Chancel Choir. The Chapel Choir sings for worship periodically with rehearsal immediately preceding that service in the Choir Room.
This choir is for adults whose schedule strictly permits daytime rehearsal. This choir plays regularly for Sunday worship, special services and also in the community.
Tuesdays | 9:00 to 10:30 am | Room 133
The Carillon Ringers Adult Handbell Choir is currently comprised of 12 members who ring for Sunday morning worship on a regular basis. This choir also rings for Christ Church Christmas concerts and in the community for other churches and civic organizations.
Mondays | 7:30 to 9 pm | Room 133
A choir for adults who are only available in the evenings.

We have many opportunities for instrumentalists to participate in worship leadership and would love to have you. Our ensembles are a beautiful addition to our Sunday morning worship experiences and to our Sanctuary Series concerts. From woodwinds to percussionists, all are welcome.
Sanctuary Series is dedicated to furthering the mission and vision of Christ Church United Methodist through music. The events are free and open to the public with an offering collected to bless worthy organizations in our communities. Through sacred music, Sanctuary Series invites its patrons to “worship God in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9) and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Come hear the brilliant sounds of the Brown Memorial Organ in a concert given by Dr. Shawn Dawson, Associate Director of Music Ministries. The evening will include a special appearance by the Chancel Choir, hymn singing, and organ masterworks that will utilize the 3150 pipes to worship God through the beauty of music.
All the ensembles of Christ Church are 100% volunteer and open to everyone. No experience necessary, no audition required. Anyone who is interested in making music to praise the Lord will find a place in the music ministry of Christ Church!
There are ways to help the music ministry beyond music, such as ushering for concerts, setting up for events, etc. Just as importantly, people can support the ministry through their prayers.
