About Christ Church School

Our teachers and staff are passionate about not only educating children, but of shepherding every child and walking alongside their families. We believe that every child, at every stage of development, is a blessing.

Our low student to teacher ratio allows us to focus on each child and every area of development-cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical.

What makes our school unique?

  • Lesson plans (Infancy through Kindergarten) based on Kentucky Early Childhood Standards shared with parents weekly.
  • Two enclosed, age-appropriate playgrounds for gross motor development
  • An indoor Large Motor Room
  • Science Lab
  • Curriculum extended during Afternoon Programs
  • Outdoor Classroom
  • Enrichment Classes include PE, music, and science
  • In-house Field Trips include visits from Louisville Free Public Library, St. Matthews Fire Department, Santa, and other curriculum extensions.

We begin each morning with Sacred Circle Time. This is a brief bible story where every child, from infancy to Kindergarten, hears God’s word, prays together, and receives a blessing. In addition, older children attend chapel twice a month.
