LENT 2026

In times of temptation, misunderstanding, shame, suffering, grief, and celebration, What Does Jesus Do? This Lent, we will step into stories full of common human experiences and watch how Jesus responds. Come and see.

Lenten Reflection Guide

“What Would Jesus Do?” We have all seen the wristbands, banners, and bumper stickers. “W.W.J.D?” has become a common shorthand reminder or an instant reflection on our daily actions and our moral choices. How should we speak when feeling anger or joy or confusion? What should we do for people in need when we encounter them? How should we act in bad traffic when we use our turn signals, but others don’t? The answer to those questions might be “What would Jesus do?” But at some point, that can become a cliché that loses its impact. Because the Word of God in Jesus is alive and active, we are invited to ask the question this Lent, “What DOES Jesus Do?” Jesus has shown us the way in his very life so that we don’t have to wonder what would Jesus do, we can follow the example given to us in the Living Word of the Holy Bible and be transformed by the Holy Spirit when we witness what Jesus does do.
