• Novices -  All people, young and old, learning to play new instruments
• Seasoned musicians - Come and enjoy an hour of creative freedom
• "I used to play..." - This group is for you!  Even if it's been 20 years, come out and get inspired, meet a few new friends
• Vocalists - Practice other styles, improvise harmonies, and more
• Creative writers - Have you ever wanted to try your hand at songwriting? This is a safe space to collaborate and get inspired

Each week will alternate between a more structured jam session and a more casual gathering. On Jam Session nights:

• Arrive at 6pm, set up and tune, hang out, make friends
• Start playing around 6:15, warm up with a hymn or two
• Move on to blues progressions or a "workshop" segment to learn, teach, and practice skills
• "Open mic" time is planned throughout the evening, in between other segments. Bring something you wrote or that you're working on to share it with the group!
• Finish up with a few covers, including rock, bluegrass, and beyond
• Wrap up playing at 7:15 and pick up kids from childcare by 7:30

On casual nights, we will have the room open for anyone from 6-7:30 to play what they want to play, have informal lessons & learning, learn and do instrument setup and repair, just hang out, or rehearse a piece for Sunday mornings.

Room 002 is in the east corner of our building, on the first floor past the Youth Center. It is closest to door numbers 8 and 9.
