What to Sell

Clothing

Spring Sale -Spring/Summer clothing only

Size newborn –16

Items must be on child-sized hangers hung with the hook pointing LEFT when the item is facing you (if you were to wear the item then the hook of the hanger would be on your right shoulder). Maternity clothes and size 8 and up may be hung on larger hangers.

Clean, smoke-free, no holes, stains or missing buttons. Sets should be pinned securely together and to the hanger. Shoes, socks, accessories, etc, should be placed in a zip-loc bag with the tag placed inside.

Toys and Equipment

Must be clean and in good condition with all parts intact. Toys or equipment requiring batteries should include them. Small parts should be placed in zip-loc bags and attached to the main item with the tag taped securely. It is a good idea to tape the bags closed so no small parts are lost, as long as there is a scannable tag on the outside.

If you are selling an item in the original packaging, please tag both the item and the box or bag as some shoppers may separate these from each other.

Seller Agreement

Seller agrees to allow the Pass It On Kids Sale to sell any and all items brought into the sale by the seller.  Seller sets the price of each item and indicates whether it should be discounted at the half price sale and/or donated at the end of the sale

The Pass It On Kids Sale reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet standards or is inappropriate.  Seller agrees not to bring items that are worn, or stained, have been recalled, children's jewelry, toys that are flimsy or easily breakable, stuffed animals that have eyes that can become detached, any infant toy or article (under age 3) made of soft plastic or vinyl, breast pumps, underwear that is not new in packagecar seats more than five years old, and/or full-sized cribs manufactured before June 2011 (cribs with drop down sides). Clothing must be clean, smoke-free, no holes, stains or missing buttons.

The seller will receive 60% of the selling price and 40% of the selling price will go to selected charities. Sellers will receive a tax donation form with their check.  Sellers will also pay a $10.00 advertising fee, regardless of the amount sold.  This amount will  be deducted from the Seller's check.

Seller agrees that any item found at the sale without a tag will not be sold, and if not claimed during pick up, will be donated to charity.  It is the Seller's responsibility to make sure that all items are tagged securely and correctly, including the correct Seller number. Shoes must be bagged with tag taped to the outside of the bag.

Seller agrees to hold harmless and make no claims against the Pass It On Kids Sale, Christ Church United Methodist Church, and/or the volunteers or participants of the Pass It On Kids Sale for any damage, theft, or loss of items at the Pass It On Kids Sale.  Seller assumes the risks of these events occurring by participating in the sale.

Seller agrees to hold harmless and waive any and all claims against the Pass It On Kids Sale, Christ Church United Methodist Church, and/or the volunteers or participants of the Pass it On Kids Sale for any personal injury that might occur in connection with the sale.

Seller understands that ALL ITEMS NOT PICKED UP BY 4PM ON SATURDAY become the property of the Pass It On Kids Sale and WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY that day.

Tagging

In our computerized system, consignors will first agree to the seller agreement prior to registering and will then need to inventory all of their items.

Once you login with your consignor number and password, you will have a menu option to choose to work with your consigned items. You will then enter item category, size, description (good place to mention brand names) and price (please use $1 increments). A good rule of thumb for pricing items is 25-30% of retail. Also, you will need to check the box if you would like the item to be discounted at the half price sale on Saturday and check the box if you would like the item to be donated should it not sell.

You will be able to start and stop entering your inventory as often as you would like.

Access to inventory input will be shut down- Sept 19 at midnight

We HIGHLY recommend that consignors use light colored card stock for tag/bar code printing. This will reduce the number of lost tags and make it easier for the scanners to read all bar codes. When printing your tags from your home computer, please use BLACK ink. Six tags will fit on a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 card stock. Once your tags are printed, place the tag on the LEFT, shoulder/side of the item (if you were to wear the item, the tag would be on your left shoulder) and attach it with a SAFETY PIN.
