Anita Kuvin

Prayer Leader

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12

Educated at George Washington University and Florida State, Anita Kuvin brings a wealth of wisdom and experience to her role as our volunteer Prayer Leader. From marketing and public relations to fundraising and grant writing, Anita utilized her many talents and skills in the corporate world as a sales and marketing rep for Bristol-Myers and in the not-for-profit sector as VP of Development for Wesley Manor.

One small note on her resume speaks volumes about what matters most to Anita: she was a stay-at-home mom for 23 years while she raised her three sons and cared for her mother. The people she loves and the Lord she serves are clearly her highest priorities.

Q: Do you prefer to make plans or be spontaneous?
A:
Hands down, make plans! I at least like to feel that I am in control.

Q: Would you rather have a personal chef or a personal trainer?
A:
I’d want a personal chef — but I need a personal trainer!

Q: You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
A:
Any shade of blue. It’s cool and calm, classic and traditional, patriotic.

Q: Where do you see Women's Ministry at Christ Church in 5 years?
A: I envision an even larger group of women who love the Lord and His Word, and who reflect His love and grace as they walk alongside others, offering support and encouragement — especially to other women.
