Our vision for Women’s Ministry at Christ Church is to help every woman find a safe place to call home. Whether you’re a leader or a learner, twenty-something or ninety-something, your gifts and skills, your hopes and dreams are welcome here. Through our Bible studies, book clubs, small groups, and special events, we hope you’ll discover new avenues for spiritual growth and a warm circle of emotional support. We’re here for you, sisters.

One of the rights and privileges we have as followers is that our Lord speaks to us one-on-one. He meets us where we are despite who we are and reveals His will for our lives. This 7-session study on Priscilla Shirer's book, He Speaks to Me will be facilitated by Tish Muldoon.
The study begins Thursday, September 4 from 5:30 - 7 pm in Room 260.

Booked for Lunch is a monthly book club for women of all ages. We believe that stories provide a powerful avenue for thinking deeply about God and faith at work in the world. As we dig into books by bestselling authors, we ask deep questions: Where is God in this story? How do we see love, forgiveness, and grace play out in this text? How does this story affect me, or change my own faith journey as I’m becoming living proof of God’s love, one person at a time? Reading popular books gives us the opportunity to invite others into these conversations about God—whether at our monthly meeting or beyond—and to share the hope, joy and love that we experience while reading in community. We invite you to bring your lunch and join us on the 2nd Thursday each month.

Sterling Service Tea Ministry serves the spiritual, social, and inspirational needs of our sisters who have been touched by cancer.
An opportunity to retreat from a hurried pace, your emotional, social, and spiritual needs play a role as equally important as the food, service, and tea.
Each visit with our circle of friends is an adventure and has a different menu, served on silver trays and antique dishes… all accompanied by fresh flowers and soothing classical music.

Jewels of Grace meets weekly to create HOPE necklaces for women in recovery at The Healing Place. Created from the cupule (cap) of an acorn, each unique piece of jewelry is meant to give inspiration and hope to women struggling with addiction. The packaging includes a card with the message: Within every acorn is the HOPE of a mighty oak. Since 2015, this ministry has grown an amazing relationship with The Healing Place Addiction Recovery Center.
Additionally, Jewels of Grace supplies “big books” that contain the 12-step program, and blankets and socks for those in detox. They also collect money to help the men and women of The Healing Place earn their GED. Donations to The Healing Place can be made at thehealingplace.org/donate.
The necklaces and the women that create them have become an important part of the lives of many women in recovery. The HOPE necklaces have even been on display in a hospital art gallery! People in other circles across the country have been reaching out to learn about the model of Jewels of Grace. So many people have been touched by addiction, and this ministry provides hope and unity to countless many.
